Khamitova Nazerke Yermekovna enrolled in the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2015, majoring in Oriental Studies. She graduated with honors in 2019, defending her bachelor’s thesis on intercultural interaction among Kazakhstani students in South Korean universities. During her studies, she completed research internships at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul) and Kangnam University (Yongin). From 2019 to 2021, she completed her Master’s degree in the same field, including a research internship at the R. B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies and a teaching practicum at KazNU. From 2022 to 2025, she pursued her PhD in Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and completed an overseas research internship at Sangmyung University (Republic of Korea). She taught the course “History of the Country of Study” and was awarded the KF Fellowship for Graduate Studies by the Korea Foundation. She is currently serving as Head of the Korean Studies Division of the Department of the Far East at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
